KST Consultants has maintained mutual trade relations with a number of clients over the years. Some of the most noteable are listed below:
- Nyaradzo Life Assurance Chitungwiza Project (2016- to date)
KST Consultants are currently involved as the structural engineer and project managers for the Chitungwiza project. The project is found on bad clayey soils and part sandy soils. The project is founded by pile foundations and all loads and distributed using load bearing bricks to the foundations. The project is approaching its completion date.
- Nyaradzo life Assurance Park Street Project-ongoing
KST Consultants are currently involved in the renovations of a five storey proposed office block as the project managers. KST Consultants have taken the already set five months programme and are managing the design and building team toward creating a state of the art office building.
- Feasibility study of Kuwadzana traffic circle structural pavement-(2017)
KST Consultants were involved in a desktop and feasibility study of the Kuwadzana traffic circle. The study included the design of various pavement solutions that can be utilised for the rehabilitation of the intersection.
- Forbes-Harare- Plumtree Road Routine maintenance -Ongoing
KST Consultants are engaged by Intertoll for routine road maintenance and management for the R2 and R5 highway including supervision, routine designs, project management and providing technical advice.
- Special Infrastructural projects in Equatorial Guinea (2014- to date)
>KST Consultants are currently involved in project management, architectural, structural and civil works for various special infrastructural projects for the Government of Equatorial Guinea .Engineer Kambarami as the Project Manager and his team of architects and engineers are technical supervisors for 2 projects being constructed by an Israeli construction company worth 120 Million Euro, 3 projects being constructed by a Chinese Construction Company worth 90 Million Euro and a project being constructed by a Lebanese contractor worth 25 million Euro.
- Infralink (Pvt) Ltd (August 2011- August 2015) (Value $206 000 000.00)
KST Consultants were in a Joint Venture with SMEC (SA) as the Lenders Technical Advisor (LTA) to Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) the funding Bank for the Zimbabwe Road Rehabilitation Project. Infralink a joint venture company created between construction company Group 5 (SA) and Zimbabwe National Road Authority (ZINARA) are administering the project. The project included the rehabilitation and upgrade of distressed sections of the 800km from Plumtree through Bulawayo, Gweru, Harare and ends at the border post outside Mutare. It also included the strengthening and widening of shoulders with new surface, new toll gates, new SADC highway signage and road furniture and construction which was done over a period of 36 months. The project cost is USD206million.
- Ministry of Public Works (Feb 2012- June 2013) (Value $30 000 000.00)
KST Consultants were commissioned by Ministry of Public Works to provide Civil and structural engineering services for a 23000m2 shopping mall which includes the following: production of an engineering design proposal, carrying out preliminary design, detailed design and preparation of tender documentation and supervision of the construction. In addition the design of all parking and internal surfaced roads for the whole complex.
- Ministry of National Housing (July 2012- May 2013) (Value $1 350 000.00)
KST Consultants were commissioned by Ministry of National Housing to provide civil engineering services for high density housing development in Marondera town. The services include design of infrastructure (water, sewer, 5km internal surfaced roads and stormwater) for 200 stands. The designs are complete including tender documentation.
- Beta Tiles (Pvt) Ltd (September 2010- February 2011) (Value $1 120 000.00)
KST Consultants completed and provided services for all project management and engineering design support for the construction of a new roof tile factory in Mt Hampden outside Harare. The Italian supplier of the equipment and plant only provided layout drawings, positions of equipment within the building layout and various weight configurations for design of support and anchorage. From the layout KST developed detailed civils designs for construction. The plant supplier only came to install the plant after the building had been completed including stub columns for the various plant and machinery. The plant which is now operational currently has capacity to produce 40000 roof tiles per day.
The project management and engineering services that KST Consultants provided included design of the steel frame structure covering 1000m2 of floor space, design of 80 ton cement silo, design of industrial hard stand for the building and for the external storage areas for raw materials and finished product. The plant includes 7 curing chambers, a fully automated mixer, conveyor, screw conveyor, pumps and compressor. As part of the contract KST Consultants carried out a redesign a 6km road from the main Chinhoyi road which would be upgraded to a surfaced road.
- Mbada Diamonds (Pvt) Ltd (2010- 2011) (Value $3 500 000.00)
Starting from October 2010 KST Consultants were appointed by Mbada Diamonds to provide project management and engineering services for 100 houses that were being built by Murray & Roberts and Mutual Construction. The houses were for the people who were being relocated from Chiadzwa diamond fields. Also as part of the project KST Consultants were asked to design a 9km surfaced road project and was constructed at the same time as the houses. As of end of March 2011 we handed over 50 housing units and the road. We are also providing engineering services i.e structural and civil for the infrastructure development at the mine
- F B C Building Society ( 2010- 2012) (Value $1 600 000.00)
KST Consultants were appointed in October 2010 as Project Managers, civil and structural engineers for the development of 10 exclusive housing units in Borrowdale. The housing units are 160m2 each with security wall, self sufficient water supply, internal roads which are paved and landscaping. Our service will include surveys, preliminary and detailed designs, construction supervision and coordination and supervision of the professional team.
- Homelink (Pvt) Ltd (2008-2009)
KST Consultants have been provided project management and civil engineering support services for the construction of 100 houses in Westgate and another 30 houses in Prospect both of which are in Harare and completed. In addition KST Consultants carried out on behalf of Homelink (Pvt) Ltd design work for roads and stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure of 203 residential stands in Tynwald (Harare) and 76 residential stands in Parklands Bulawayo. On a regular basis KST Consultants continue to provide engineering advisory services to Homelink.
- City of Mutare- Pungwe Water Supply Pipeline Project.1996-1998
In 1996 KST Consultants was over a period of 2 years was part of the Project Management Consultants- Pungwe Consulting Group which was supervising the construction of the water supply pipeline from Pungwe river to Mutare and reporting to City of Mutare. The supervision included design of additional water treatment plant and construction.
- City of Bulawayo- Zambezi Water Supply Feasibility Study 1995-1996
This was a feasibility study which evaluated the existing water supply conditions and was expanded to cover water resources development plan for City of Bulawayo and Matebeleland North. The study also identified new water sources which would assist in the long term water strategy.
